‘print-while-you-party’ photo cards

Two weeks ago, I assisted in hosting a surprise bridal brunch for a friend. We wanted to thank the guests with a memorable favor. It became unanimous that we would take a group photo right after the surprise, run the camera to the drug store (conveniently across the restaurant) for 1-hour photo finishing, and have the photos given to the guests before parting. We wanted the photos inserted into something more personal than store-bought picture frames. So I proposed to make thank you card frames instead. They were uncomplicated, practical, and definitely surprised the guests and bride-to-be.
This is such a great idea! So many pictures are taken at showers that never get printed and your favor totally solves that problem. Love it!
Thank you, Gina! Thanks for visiting my blog. 🙂 Keep posted, I have many stationery posts in store for the future!
Hi Jer! I’m just perusing your blog, and came across this. I LOVED this card – thank *you* for doing them for Di! They were just super cute and an awesome favour to give out that day. 🙂
Thanks Lesley! It was fun doing these for Di. I can’t believe it was almost 4 months ago.
What a great idea!!! i love it!!
Thank you, Claudia! And thanks for peeking in. 😀
In the days before digital cameras, I would snap a roll of photos at a wedding, take it to one-hour developing and then just lay them on the head table before the bride and groom arrived at their reception. The looks on their faces was always priceless!! Could still do the same with digital photos. When I managed a retirement home, we took photos of each resident with Santa and had them developed overnight. They were ready for the residents to pick up at lunchtime in the photos I had printed on the computer. I love to surprise people!
Nice post. Well what can I say is that these is an interesting and very informative topic on cheap packing paper
